Would go again because of...

Disliked: The bed and bath I’ll owe were horrible!

This place is amazing.
Liked: It was so beautiful and secluded yet close to everything. Hammocks, sitting areas, firepit, beautiful flowers/landscaping. Rooms meticulously decorated and with all the amenities. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast service amazing and everything wonderful.
Disliked: Perfect little spot.

Wonderful trip and would absolutely...
Liked: The Dreamcatcher is truly a treasure. We were in town for a wedding. We arrived Thursday evening and left Sunday morning. Check-in is seamless using a keypad code so you can go straight to your room without having to deal with keycards or front desk hassles. Anything we needed was available and we reached staff via text and they are super responsive and helpful. The property is quiet, peaceful, lush, beautiful with easy access to Taos. It’s a small OASIS. At the daily breakfast, we met other guests to tell stories about their travels and got to know the staff who are just so pleasant and accommodating. Fresh cut fruit, breakfast muffins, individual quiche, grits, excellent coffee, and fresh juice. We filled our water bottles every morning for our daily Taos explorations. Stay hydrated! The climate is so dry! I bought eye drops at Albertsons to soothe gritty, dry eyes.I can’t say enough about the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, water pressure, and room temperature, & mini fridge & k-cup coffee maker. The Kachina room has turquoise tile!!We love thrift shopping and even hit garage sales, KTAOS flea mkt and Taos flea mkt on Sunday. We bought local art at Quarter Pop Press Gallery. Our luggage was overstuffed from shopping. We hit Taos Mesa Brewing; Gorge Bar and Grill; Taos Rockers (gems/crystals); Thunder Lizard beads; Camino Real Imports; Rio Grande Gorge Bridge; Earthship Biotecture tour $9. Newlywed couple stayed in the Phoenix Earthship. We saw the best examples of the architecture in real life - an indoor koi pond, birds flying around in the tropical greenhouse, fireplace/water fountain; thick adobe walls built from tires, glass bottles, old beer cans. This is a home!On our drive up from Albuquerque we took hwy 14 through Madrid and ate at the Mineshaft Tavern. Their mad chile burger is great and you can get a gluten free bun. We loved their Slice of Hefen beer on tap.
Disliked: My sister prefers brighter lights indoors. Also, the kcup coffee maker had no function to brew hot water for her mushroom tea.

The dream catcher suite was...
Liked: They actually prepared my family a “to go” breakfast right at 8:30am as were were headed out early for a rafting adventure. While we drove to the plaza, it is not necessary. It is only a .4/.5 mile walk to the plaza on some narrow roads. The speed limit is only 15mph and we saw plenty of dog walkers in the morning. I would walk to the plaza if we were to have stayed an additional night. We also lit a fire in their courtyard fire pit with everything needed provided by DreamCatcher.

Wonderful stay, I felt right...
Liked: Great rooms that just invite you to relax. Everything was so nicely decorated, and a lot of thought placed in making guests feel comfortable. The guest book was also very helpful. Great breakfasts prepared and served by friendly staff. Also very much enjoyed the outdoor decorations.

Exceptional
Liked: Low key, contact free check in, open dining room in the morning to take or leave. All private entrance rooms. The property was nice enough to give me an unexpected upgrade to the Geko Garden room due to a repair being made. This was legitimately the most warm and welcoming room I have ever stayed in. I wanted to move in forever! Beautiful property. Close to all interests but far enough away from the main drag. Rio Grande gorge is close by and worth the short drive!

Lovely stay... with a couple...
Liked: 1. location and ambience.2. Coffee creamer in the room3. Great shower4. Tasty breakfast
Disliked: 1. I didn't know beforehand that there are 3 steps in the Hummingbird. I'm a senior with some mobility issues and would ask the owners to consider installing a handrail on at least one side. 2. I didn't like not having a microwave in the room. Although I was informed that I can use the one in the dining room, it's inconvenient when you've already "cozied-in" for the night. 3. The Hummingbird parking space is too tight.4. Could hear (but not understand) neighbors talking. I'm a little hard of hearing, so because of posted "quiet hours", I felt like I couldn't watch TV (and hear it) after 9 pm. :(5. Late and limited breakfast hours (8:30am - 9:00am). I wake up early and prefer to start the day earlier.
