Disliked: Lack of cleanliness in room and ensuite. Decor tired and unkempt. Adjoining bar offered 'special deals for cocktails but staff on duty hadnt been trained to make them. Only redeeming factor was location very central.

Disliked: The bed wasn't comfy, and neither was the pillows, the shower wasn't up to much either but was hot

Liked: I liked being able to take the dog with me and the room was a good size. I would return on that basis.
Disliked: No breakfast available during our stay and the kitchen wasn't open till 8pm as they advertise as we were unable to get anything to eat after 6pm.

Great location, just don't expect...

Liked: Location is excellent. I do like Callander and there's loads to do near by.
Disliked: Hotel's a bit dated but fine over all
