Liked: Location
Disliked: Parking a problem. At 80yrs of age 26 steps up the stairs then no shower only a bath which at our age if you did get in you won't get out!

A weel equipped hotel/pub with...

Liked: The room was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Disliked: I recognise that it is an old building but the staircases and corridors are very narrow. As I am 80 I would have appreciated some help in carrying suitcases up the stairs and along corridors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The breakfasts were very good and staff happy to accommodate my sister with her quirky dietary choices!
Disliked: We had a very long wait for our lunch the first day, despite only ordering ciabatta.

A very comfortable stay in...

Liked: Absolutely spotless. Lovely reception and offer of a cup of tea much appreciated when I arrived after 9pm. The team remembered I’d requested a bacon sandwich for the following morning as I was leaving before breakfast. It was a truly splendid bacon sandwich. Wish I’d been there longer to have dinner and a proper breakfast.

Disappointing

Liked: We liked how close it was to the mountain we was hiking up
Disliked: Car park entrance so tight scratched side of car Pubic hair on toilet seat on arrival Used coffee pod in coffee machine Windows open that couldn't be shut on the inside as to high up looking into bathroom backing onto a very busy beer garden Upgraded to family room so would have extra beds the double bed was just two singles pushed together and very uncomfortable no mattress topper Tv didn't work and when asked staff they just said yeah we know it doesn't Breakfast was included watery eggs on plate tiny pot of beans and waitress was rude Lights had blown on table lamps
