Liked: Great location, free parking on-site, breakfast includedWhile there are plenty of things that could be improved (most noticeably portion size of the breakfast) I want to be fair and say that it is nevertheless good basic hotel in the heart of Snowdonia that allows to explore National Park from a convenient location. So don’t come with too high expectations, but it compares well to Travelodge or PremierInn that are not available inside Snowdonia.

Good size single room and...

Liked: Good size for a single room and a good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was great, freshly made and lots of options. Location was excellent and within walking distance to Betws y Coed main street.
Disliked: Room was located by the main road so traffic could be heard, however there were double-glazed windows that made a lot of difference.

Not what we expected!

Liked: Comfortable beds.Convenient nearby parking. Friendly,helpful staff.
Disliked: Room was a bit small. The approach,up iron stairs with a rotting wooden handrail,bedecked in spiders webs was a bit low- rent. We were disappointed the Chinese restaurant had gone. Our son is autistic and we ,foolishly had promised him a Chinese meal on the Saturday night,his birthday. We certainly never saw about the closure when we booked.
