Basic but clean and welcoming.

Liked: Staff were lovely, everything was basic but clean.Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that, however, it smelled nice in the morning!
Disliked: Nothing not to like. Room very small and quite warm, but a fan was supplied which made a difference. It had what we needed for a one night stay.

Liked: Warm welcome. Very central. Big breakfast.George v kindly reserved us parking space.

Very cosy but a great...

Liked: Great location adjacent to the train station and within walking distance of most things. Lovely and clean with a comfy bed. And the staff were great.
Disliked: Extremely small room and ensuite and up 3 flights of stairs.

A warm, welcoming stay that...

Liked: We had a really lovely stay! We weren’t expecting someone to greet us on arrival, so it was a pleasant surprise and made us feel very welcome right from the start. The place was clean, well-kept, and had a warm, homey feel to it — not like a typical hotel. It genuinely felt like we were guests in someone’s home rather than just customers. The bed was comfy, everything was nicely maintained, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing — a real highlight of our stay. Would definitely recommend!
