A nice friendly place to...
Liked: We used this B&B as our final stop before taking the ferry back home, and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, suggested a good restaurant etc. It's located within a short walking distance of downtown Dover.

Passable but handy for the...
Liked: Short stop over as it was very handy for the ferry port. A lockable garage was available to lock our bikes in which I was grateful for as the area wasn't brilliant. The rooms were clean even if dated, but certainly passable.
Disliked: Very busy street outside not helped by the staff smoking outside having a chat with everyone walking past in the night time. lots of laughing and joking outside the windows and not much sleep was to be had due to this

Jan and George were absolutely...
Liked: It was a lovely, old property, the room was decent sized, the breakfast they served could feed an army! True English breakfast.
Disliked: The stairs!!! We had lots of luggage!

Character-filled Guest House with Spotless...
Liked: George & Jan were most gracious! A hot English breakfast prepared fresh by George each morning (extra £10, worth every penny!) & anything ya need & local recommendations offered by Jan will make your stay full of English hospitality. Our room was spotlessly clean. Like most European rooms, it was small and cozy and had a couple flights of stairs, so pack light! The guest house is older, so it has lots of character with separate hot & cold faucets at the sink and corners that aren’t quite square anymore. Right across from the train station, it’s a very convenient location. If you’d like a live band on Friday and Saturday nights, just open your window to let in the sea breeze & relax to the drumbeat (or cross the road for a pint)!
Disliked: The water pressure on the third floor shower could be improved.

Jan and George were fabulous...
Liked: We had an overnight stay travelling back from France. A 5 minute drive from the port and we were there. Jan was on hand to assist us and advise with parking. George cooked a fab breakfast the next morning, just the start we needed before setting off for home.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like. We stayed for on night, facilities were ok, the location in the town was spot on and we could have easily found a nearby restaurant if we needed to.

Very disappointed with the standard...
Disliked: Room (5) very small. In front of property on a busy main road so constant noise, although rest of hotel was empty. Basic bathroom with no toiletries. Duvet cover was soiled and we had to ask for it to be changed (which they did).

Over-priced basic accommodation.
Liked: Ideal location for Dover Priory railway station. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Fire door propped open. Wifi password not working in room. No table/desk. Wall light not working and hanging off wall. Washbasin lacked plug. Staff smoking.
