One of the best places...

Liked: Very clean room with stylish interior. Watercooker. Super bed. Roomy bathroom. Very helpful host and the breakfast was delicious.

Liked: Kate was super welcoming, and helpful for first-time visitors. The rooms were great, clean, with everything you'd need. Breakfast was fabulous. I would recommend it.

Liked: Very nice comfortable b & b. Kate the owner very friendly, breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and well presented. Room perfect.

Exceptional stay at fabulous Douglas...

Liked: Douglas House is a lovely B&B run by the equally lovely Kate and her sidekick Bart (a most gorgeous pussycat!). Our room was very clean, large, nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and two cosy chairs. The en-suite was a good size with a great shower and nice toiletries. Kate leaves a fine selection of drinks in the room including tea, coffee, fruit teas, herbal teas and hot chocolate plus caramel wafers. The breakfast Kate provides is top notch using local ingredients and one of the best we have had anywhere. It would be impossible to rate our stay at Douglas House as anything less than 10/10 and we highly recommend.
Disliked: Nothing not to like!
