Checked in and was told after we checked in that it would cost us $14 to park in the parking garage which wasn't even attached to the hotel. Got to our room to find hair on the bathroom floor, in the tub and on the toilet. Could not use the drawers because there was hair and dirt inside of those and let's not forget the trash that was under the dresser. There were grease marks from somebody's face all over the window and handprints all over the desk. Called the front desk and they met us on the floor above to put us in a new room. Couldn't get the air-conditioning to work in that room; there was trash outside of the room when we got to the room, although the bathroom looked clean; when I picked up the room phone to call the front desk about the air-conditioner, there was ear dirt on the receiver of the phone and lipstick on the mouthpiece of the phone. When we got our bags and went down to the front desk and told him we didn't want the room and we would stay elsewhere - really, truly I am surprised that this is a Hilton hotel. If this is what Hilton Hotels have become I will never stay in one again. I did get a follow up phone call from the manager on duty who told me that they were going through some staff changes and the housekeeping person who was in charge had left to go to another company blah blah blah which has nothing to do with somebody knowing to wipe greasy smudge marks off the window or dirt and lipstick off the phone. Beyond disappointed. Luckily we found another room at the Sheraton which was bigger, cleaner and the same price. The only positive is that they did refund my money but still what a huge hassle.
Liked: Staff was nice.
Disliked: Everything else.

We arrived about 15 minutes past check in time but was told there were no rooms available. I had reserved a room several weeks in advance. People in line after me were given rooms. When I expressed my discontent at this, I was verbally assaulted by other people in line who shouted racial comments. One man behind me was very irrate and quite threatening to me. The staff just stood there - they did nothing to diffuse the situation or to calm the man down. I still did not get a room for at least an hour. When we did get a room, we found later in the night that one of our beds was broken or way worn out - the mattress was sinking almost down to the floor. It was late and we did not feel up to another showdown over the bed. I definitely will not stay at another Hilton property if I can help it unless there is some effort on their part to soothe the distress added to my weekend trip.
Liked: Our room was nicely appointed - clean.
Disliked: The check in process. The staff. The beds.

Liked: Friendly staff and very clean. Cab service and staff were awesome. Didn't have to wait around.
Disliked: They didn't have our reservations. Also it is not 0.9 miles to walk. It was about 2 miles, we had to rent a cab.

Was fairly close to the Time Warner Cable Arena, especially for the price (I think, like, $90/night for New Year's Eve). The room was in fine shape, bathroom clean, etc. Check-in staff was helpful. Overall, no real complaints except for the Wi-Fi charge, and not even that is a big deal because I only had my phone and it's in 4G coverage.
Liked: Cheap for the location; refrigerator in room; got a cookie.
Disliked: Have to pay for Wi-Fi.

Liked: The front desk and restaurant staff were wonderful! Location is perfect for dining and other activities.
Disliked: Having to pay for internet and parking
