I was able to get this hotel for $100 a night. Was not the most fancy or elegant but it did the job. Walking distance to the venue.
Liked: Very close to Hard Rock and City Walk.

Liked: Clean; affordable; room service and housekeeping were great.
Disliked: No balconies for a non smoking facility.

Doubletree Hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hard Rock Live, and CityWalk. The Florida Mall is also a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It's a great place to stay if you're vacationing on a budget.
Liked: Centrally located near many different things.
Disliked: Parking fee I was not informed of.

Great time, parking fee is...
Liked: Was a fantastic stay, close to universal. Staff was great even helped extend our stay due to flight delays and cancellations.
Disliked: Couple of negatives, paying to park $20 a night then the security gates stay open at night so anyone can park there with out having to pay. And the staff at the on site Starbucks are not friendly at all.

Good location, quite expensive
Liked: Good facilities and nice spacious rooms
Disliked: We were woken up by a fault in our fire alarm around 1am the first night, called and reported it to reception and they didn?t seem to care. Ended up being moved to another room and no comment from the staff. We stayed in several hotels while we traveled the coast and this was the most expensive and the least impressive.
