Mediocre

Liked: Very clean and good decor. Good size hotel and rooms. Nice and private location.
Disliked: Miss information when requesting a further bed. I booked 2 Queen family rooms that state the room has a double and a sofa bed, I was then given an option to request a FURTHER bed or cot at no extra cost. However, when arriving at the hotel, only one of the sofa beds was made up and NO FURTHER BED was added. I was then told that the further bed ment the sofa bed. So one of my family members had to sleep on the floor. I went to book another room but was told they don’t have any and no rooms big enough to accommodate. So yes that’s right I paid a hotel and had to have someone sleep on the floor, it even took over 4 hours before someone came and gave enough bedding to make the bed on the floor. So not impressed at all.

Disliked: We were disappointed at the meal in the restaurant.Chicken Tikka portion had 3 small pieces of chicken and was overpriced.We waited over half an hour for our dessert and at £75 for a party of 2 it spoilt the evening. Also no menu available in the room.Our room was on the 1st floor and the constant banging of doors during the evening took the shine off what we hoped was a special stay with a top class hotel chain.Sad to say we were disappointed on our departure.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent .The scrambled egg and sausages were yummy. Perfectly cooked.Check in staff efficiency was outstanding.fast and professional. Room clean.good to have a window able to open. I liked there was bottles of water for guests The bar and restaurant welcoming and relaxing for an evening meal
Disliked: The towels could be whiter and softer .Would be good to have a fridge in room.

Liked: Comfy, nice rooms. Cookie on arrival was great.
Disliked: Shower head had black bits of limescale. Not wiped in a long time. Toilet seat falling off. Bowls in breakfast buffet looked like they weren't washed (they were I'm sure, just the dishwasher settings/solutions need to be looked at)

Disliked: Kept us waiting to check in - 3 rooms booked and apparently not even one was ready to let us in. Arrived at 2:47 and got into our room nearly an hour later.
