Poor
Liked: The free cookie on arrival was the best part about the stay to be honest. Just be aware they don't ask/care if you have any dietaries
Disliked: False advertising as the spa bath and steam room have been broken for a long time, it is a shame as we had booked this hotel as a birthday treat for those facilities. There are plenty of other places we could have gone and wish we had.I think the man on reception was having a bad day. I have been put off staying at a Hilton again due to their very underwhelming customer service and felt like although I had tried to find out about the complaints procedure as nicely as I could, the man was ready for an arguement and made things actually worse. He made me prove it to him that the facilities are still listed online as he didn't believe me.I have tried to resolve my complaint with reception, booking.com and directly with the Hilton before leaving a bad review and sharing my experience with others. I have been shown that I am not valued as a customer and that's okay, but I can not recommend either companies to others. The customer service I have received has been pretty poor so just be aware of that if anything goes wrong with your stay.

Liked: Location
Disliked: The first room we were checked into had a bad smell. We had to be shifted to another room. The new room had no phone, so we had to walk all the way to reception for any requests etc. The breakfast was super-basic, needs improving. We had paid for breakfast for both days but skipped it on the second day. The restaurant was understaffed, and we had to wait a while for the lady to appear so we could get plates since they had run out. A few years ago the hotel used to be fantastic, so we were taken aback by the decline.
