no sleep

Disliked: horribly noisy. I was moved rooms at midnight due to the noise, but it really didn't help.I had no sleep due to ther customers screaming up and down the corridors

Liked: Breakfast ok.
Disliked: Hotel was a bit tired in places - room and dining room.

Disappointing

Liked: We asked the reception for a replacement for 1. the electric heater in the room (it didn't work) and 2. a box of tissues (it was empty). They said they'd replace them in 30 minutes - they never did.
Disliked: Reception ignored our request above.

Nick was very welcoming and...

Liked: The room was great, very modern and clean, bed was very comfy and the shower gel and hand soap! DivineMinimal noise disturbance, always able to get a parking space.
Disliked: The fridge in our room wasn’t cold the entire stay and the bathroom extractor fan is a little noisy.

Another enjoyable visit to Sheffield

Some aspects are excellent, others...

Liked: Room was ok. Lacked a pack of biscuits (as no cookies on reception), there were no water bottles, had to get those from reception.Breakfast was excellentBed was clean and comfortableBathroom was very good
Disliked: We were promised signature cookies on arrival, there weren’t any available at 13:00 or 20:00. We were promised some for the next morning instead, there weren’t any. The male on reception desk was unnecessarily over-engaging with a man checking in ahead of us when we got back at 20:00, and took so long with him (we didn’t even get an “I’ll be with you in a moment”), we were left waiting over 10 minutes, so we gave up. One of the cleaners was rather grumpy, all the others were excellent. Hannah on reception was excellent.

Disliked: The Jacuzzi wasn't working and the £5 charge for using the facilities, the swimming pool was a bit too small
