Great hotel. I would stay...

Liked: The breakfast was great. every morning my parents and I came down for breakfast and was greeted by a very friendly staff. The food was delicious. The space was clean and niceAlso the bartender made a great margarita, and was really friendly.
Disliked: There was some type of test going on during my stay. There seemed to be random people walking around at times.

Great hotel; exceptional room

Liked: The room was great. View excellent. Restaurant and bar was very nice. The lounge areas were a bonus.
Disliked: Only parking. There was an event going on so parking was pretty packed. Would have loved a valet option.

Liked: I like the garden and things like that with trees. didn't feel like a regular hotel.
Disliked: I didn't like how I was charged to $60 fee right when I checked in.. which was never mentioned anywhere and honestly I don't know what it was for.. so I feel taken advantage of in that aspect.

Highs and lows, too expensive...

Liked: Nice area, sleeping facilities outstanding, some nice modern things like the automatic light in the bathroom. And the cookies are fantastic.
Disliked: Bathtubs are out of fashion and not safe. Daily cleaning of the room should be standard, not requiring special request (if you speak Spanish). And for God's sake, front desk staff should behave as human beings...
