DoubleTree by Hilton - Philadelphia Center City

I would recommend; good service; nicely situated.

Liked: The service and people that works there.
Disliked: Smells a little humid.

Disliked: Room location was between both elevators. The whole time I was in the room and tried to sleep all I heard was the elevators going up and down! The only way anyone should get that room is if they are deaf!

I am very disappointed in the Doubletree. First room had a bloody rag/tissue, the next room given had underwear hanging in the shower. Then to compensate both of us we were given one voucher for breakfast, one voucher for two different restaurants, one voucher for each place - there were two of us. This is a disgrace and the staff was actually annoyed at our complaints of the rooms. This room was not cheap to begin with.

Disliked: First room bloody rag/tissue on the floor; second room given someone's underwear in the shower.

Nothing special but comfy and convenient location.

Liked: Comfy and get a cookie with check-in.
Disliked: Bad view - right next to an office building, so had to keep blinds shut.

It was pleasant but the...

Liked: Room was nice, bed was comfy. The fact the subway was right under us made it easy to get to the ballpark.
Disliked: The parking for $38 a night was a bit much. Not your fault but the noise from motorcycles late at night woke us up. $30 for breakfast...meh...no iced tea, although the first morning our female waitress searched one out...second day the guy said we don't serve that.

Much needed quiet & sleep.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, ability to rebook same room.
Disliked: The parking garage was horrible & it took 3 people & a backup camera toGet a Ford Edge into the tiny spot. Glad we did not have a larger vehicle

Terrible experience!!

Disliked: When we checked into our room found dog feces on the floor. It’s really upsetting — especially with our kids here — and not what we expected from this stay.

Disliked: Parking was a little confusing when it was first explained but that was figured it. The room was dirty. Old soap was left in the room upon check-in. The toilet base was disgusting. We stayed two nights and the room was not throughly cleaned. (Both beds weren’t made, iron board left up. Trash not discarded. Bathroom counters not wiped down). I did with with housekeeping manager who was very nice and another manager at checkout.
