DoubleTree by Hilton - Philadelphia Center City

I would recommend; good service; nicely situated.

Liked: The service and people that works there.
Disliked: Smells a little humid.

Disliked: Room location was between both elevators. The whole time I was in the room and tried to sleep all I heard was the elevators going up and down! The only way anyone should get that room is if they are deaf!

I am very disappointed in the Doubletree. First room had a bloody rag/tissue, the next room given had underwear hanging in the shower. Then to compensate both of us we were given one voucher for breakfast, one voucher for two different restaurants, one voucher for each place - there were two of us. This is a disgrace and the staff was actually annoyed at our complaints of the rooms. This room was not cheap to begin with.

Disliked: First room bloody rag/tissue on the floor; second room given someone's underwear in the shower.

Nothing special but comfy and convenient location.

Liked: Comfy and get a cookie with check-in.
Disliked: Bad view - right next to an office building, so had to keep blinds shut.

Liked: It was conveniently located by mass transit. Had a pool. And in walking distance of restaurants.
Disliked: Under renovation, bar scene wasn’t what it should have been, breakfast wasn’t worth the extra money paid and staff thought it was amusing to set an alarm for the am of our departure. Extremely unprofessional.

Disliked: No maid service the first 2 days of our stay. We had to reach out to the front desk to get it done the 3rd day.

Liked: The quietness of being on the 24th floor, very clean room. the bed was very comfortable. the elevators worked well. the included breakfast was excellent along with the hostess. They were were very polite and professional.
Disliked: The check in wait, should have had more people to handle it. Didn't like that I had to pay for parking.
