Liked: The site and the room
Disliked: The fact that the amount on the final bills of my credit card (I booked two rooms) is higher than the one I saw on the arrival. A good AUD 40 on each. Plus a mysterious AUD 20 that I was told was a mistake to be cancelled but I still see there. So, the accommodation was fine but I am feeling cheated and surely I am not going to another Doubletree in future and never advise anyone that I know

Excellent hotel with good view.

Liked: Location was good as it was near the jetty and close to Perth CBD.Room was close and our room came with a very good view of Swan Lake. The reception staff Namgay was very helpful! He went above and beyond, providing us with recommendations on what to do on a rainy day. He also bothered to strike conversations with us which made us feel welcome.They also prepared a bottle of wine for my wife's birthday. Pleasant surprise.
Disliked: Overnight parking was available but at an open space carpark that was quite a distance away. We opted to park just outside the hotel overnight but had to wake up at 8am to make sure we pay the parking fee that starts at 8am.When we entered the room, we discovered that the pillows were stale and smelled like wet laundry. Requested for a change and they sorted it out immediately. Other than that, the room was generally very clean.While Namgay was welcoming, we cant say the same for the rest of the other staff who were rather nonchalant.

Great stay, great staff, great...

Liked: Food, location, the panoramic view of the river and South Perth. The staff were friendly, efficient and customer service was on point. Thank you we will visit again. The Rooftop bar was fantastic!

Liked: The comfort and cleanliness of the room. Friendly staff and the view from the room was beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding, lots of variety and fresh.
