I would come back again but book a bigger room.

Liked: Clean room and very comfortable bed.
Disliked: Room is very small; no room for an additional chair beyond the desk chair.

Liked: Easy access to subway and a short walk from Staten Island Ferry too!
Disliked: Occasionally long wait for lifts and breakfast costly.

Liked: Free chocolate chip cookie. Great toiletries. Comfortable bed. Really friendly staff - they were fantastic!
Disliked: The wait for the elevators was ridiculous. One time we had to wait more than 10 minutes at the lobby floor before one came down. I understand this is to be expected as they only have 3 elevators servicing the whole hotel but I think there are things they can do to improve the wait for elevators. For example, requiring staff to take the stairs where possible. We experienced more than once staff taking the elevator between one floor (with no supplies so no need to use the elevator). There is no reason a staff member needs to take the elevator for one floor (or realistically, even 5 floors) if they are not carrying anything as it just adds to the wait for paying customers. The water tank for the coffee machine was dirty with no visible way to detach it so we couldn?t take it into the bathroom to give it a wash out. Was a pity as would have been good to utilise the free coffee.

Liked: The buffet breakfast was good and some of the staff were excellent
Disliked: Some of the days the room was not cleaned properly. Also, I had to ring the reception for a bath mat on more than 2 occasions.

Pleasant stay if you catch...

Liked: Good location in the heart of Financial District, close to two metro station, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Got a super low rate like $90 per night, so that was a good deal.
Disliked: The hotel needs renovation, rooms and public places are quite old-dated. The air conditioning was coming from the last century and was extremely noisy. Had to call and ask reception for some standard disposals like cotton pads, shower cap, hairdryer, bathrobe, sleepers as they were not provided.
