Liked: The location was excellent. Near high ways plenty of shopping and restaurants near by. Close to family and friends
Disliked: My only issue was the miscommunication with the the breakfast buffet. Our reservation included breakfast. But once we spoke to the lady at the front desk it was quickly resolved.

Liked: Friendly staff….nice welcome with warm cookies. Room was clean and a/c easy to adjust. Wi-fi worked well.
Disliked: Hotel is dated…breakfast was not included and, in my opinion, expensive to purchase.

Exceptional

Liked: Easy to find great service and clean rooms.
Disliked: Pool area sparse seating unless outside.Never clean towels unless you ask.

A short visit in Norwalk,...

Liked: The location was ok, i like there was a microwave oven in the room so we can quickly heat up food for my son. I can see the hotel tried very hard to provide as much cleaning where possible. But the common areas such as the corridor, lift, door handles can increase the frequency. Parking was convenient. I would suggest to make better use of the multi story parking.
Disliked: The room was a little old, the humidity level is high, as a result the towel was still dam after a night of rest. The Air Conditioning was noisy, my son was too tired for his work so he felt sleep immediately while i am very sensitive to noise, took me slightly longer to sleep.

Disappointing

Disliked: Double tree used to be a high end hotel brand. Small touches is like the chocolate chip cookies and truly exceptional concierge service were things that I experienced in my previous stays at Doubletree. it just seems like it’s gone downhill. No chocolate chip cookies. The staff is pretty mediocre. There is no sense of receiving exceptional service or being in some kind of a high end hotel. I would never stay at this hotel again. It is out-of-the-way from all the activity and the prices were ridiculously expensive. The elevator was old and rickety and there weren’t any food options. Certainly not food options that were flexible. I ended up relying on Uber eats the entire weekend. That’s ridiculous! The only one sad restaurant you had closed at 10 on a Friday night, which left me eating ramen, in my room , from a double tree. I don’t see my most recent stay being any better than any of the comfort inn’s or motel sixes that I’ve stayed at.
