Quiet night sleep

Liked: Very easy to book and check in was quick. It was very quiet.
Disliked: Paying for parking but, I understand why they charge.

Great would recommend and stay...

Liked: Breakfast and evening g meal were great and the staff had great customer service from the reception to restaurant
Disliked: Maybe including parking costs in hotel cost as you don’t expect to pay further

Passable

Disliked: Such a slow process for checking in amd there was nothing to say parking would cosy extra.

A great bolt hole/retreat/ harbour...

Liked: Unfortunately I have been staying at the hotel for nearly three weeks due to my brother being gravely ill who lives in South Oxfordshire and I live oop north In Lancashire.However although selected in a " rush " the Orida has proved to be an ideal " bolt hole".I haven't spent a great deal of time at the hotel due to the circumstances but everything has been extremely good. As with every business the biggest asset is the members of staff.I can honestly say that every member of staff I have had dealings with has been polite... friendly...professional and above all with a sense of humour.It would be unfair to name names obviously but in my honest opinion the staff I've had contact with are an excellent envoy for Orida.Thank you very much.Kind RegardsStuart Turner
Disliked: Nothing at all. No improvement necessary.

Not a fantastic experience

Disliked: Have stayed at this hotel for nearly two years, usually there is no issues checking in earlier than 3pm. Since it has been taken over they implicated 3pm check in, that's not an issue but there was 25 people checking in at 3pm and one member of staff on. We checked in at 15:45 Proceeded to the room to find the ceiling tiles on the floor and bags of rubbish left in corridor

I will be staying there...

Liked: I was able to work quietly in my room and in the public area, plenty of power sockets, very friendly staff. I also had room service which was excellent too.
Disliked: Had a bit of a problem with actually getting hold of room service on the second evening, but the bar staff were very helpful in taking my order - and removed the 'room delivery' charge, which was a bonus.

Substandard

Liked: The size of the room was adequate
Disliked: Room wasn't great - the shower curtain had dirty marks and body hair on it, The bed was very creaky and uncomfortable The room was cold all night long

We stayed for a friend's...

Liked: Fantastic Value for money ,and with so may amenities.
Disliked: Paying for parking is a deterrent, This shouldn't be allowed. All hotels offer free parking for guests
