Liked: Very clean and good sized rooms. The look of the outside makes the hotel look old but the inside was beautiful. Nice staff as well.

Enjoyed the ability to walk through town, visit shops and have a great meal at the Historic Inn! No better place to stay when in town for a conference at the Riverfront Convention Center.

Liked: A perfect location.

Stinky room with a view

Liked: The location is superb, easy walk to Union Point Park, and all shops, restaurants, museums. The view from the (second) room was amazing. Staff all quite friendly. Free ample parking and a safe neighborhood for walking at night. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: I paid over $300 for one night, which I don’t mind splurging for on occasion, especially picked for the river view. But what I got was a less than adequate very stinky and not perfectly clean room, but with a spectacular view (second room). Upon arrival I was put on second floor room (the pet floor I came to find out next day) even though I had no pets. First room I was put in, I pulled the curtain to find zero view - only a giant tree which you couldn’t even see the river thru the branches, and a musty smell. Hauled my stuff back downstairs to change rooms, which staff did change me - was put on same second floor a few doors down, hauled my stuff back upstairs. Second room did have a lovely view but a horrible smell again. Spoke with staff who said all rooms have a musty smell due to being near the water. (BS) But, the stench smell seemed to get WORSE as the night went on and into next day, which made me feel nauseated, and I think I narrowed it down to most likely an animal had urinated heavily and they attempted to clean it with a lot of disinfectant. But you’ll never get that smell out. I would never stay here again. The price did not match the stinky smelly room even though the view was lovely (nothing against dogs being there, I love them, but put non-pet travelers on other floors). I felt I was not accommodated properly because I’m a solo female traveler. The morning front desk lady was very very nice. But I won’t be going back. I’ll try the Marriott next door next time.

Nightmare of a Night

Liked: This is a great place to stay unless you want to spend the night. At 9 30 PM We notified the desk about the party next door and in the hall. They did nothing zilch nada we had no choice but to leave and drive home at 11PM. The staff were useless and that is putting it mild.
Disliked: The staff horribly incompetent
