Great Location, skip the hotel...
Liked: The location, room, facilities, staff, parking, cleanliness were all decent at this Montreal Doubletree. We would book it again, especially since it is so central, has several restaurant options within and nearby, and has a pool and sauna.
Disliked: The bed could have been more comfortable. Our king bed mattress felt older and kind of hard. The breakfast was surprisingly substandard. The servers were great, but the buffet was very disappointing. The eggs were powdered -- not real or fresh, which is an immediate turn-off, and there was an obvious lack of any salad or vegetable items. For $33 per person, I would at least expect some fresh produce options, but this was on par with a 2-star hotel's free breakfast. Certainly not up to Hilton standard and definitely NOT up to the usual 4-star hotel standard in Canada!

Liked: The service was nice and the location was great for my purpose which was attending a conference nearby.The bed was comfy.
Disliked: The breakfast was too expensive for the price. There wasn't anything special about it. It should have been included.The pool was closed for two of the days that I was staying there. There was sound of drilling constantly during the day.I wanted to work in my room with my laptop but the table/desk and the chair was really uncomfortable. NOT worth at all for the price.
