Given the cost, the experience...
Liked: Room was clean, internet was good.
Disliked: I had a very mixed and frustrating experience during my stay. While the reception staff were initially friendly, my stay quickly soured.First, I was surprised to find that the room didn't even include disposable slippers, a basic amenity I've come to expect.More importantly, I was extremely frustrated by the hotel's policy on damage deposits. I was told that a credit card was required, which was a significant issue for me. In my previous stays at other branches of this same hotel, and at every other hotel I've ever booked, a cash deposit was always an accepted option. Unfortunately, due to my nationality, I cannot obtain an internationally usable credit card. When I explained this to the staff, their attitude seemed to change, and I felt as though I was being looked down on for not having a credit card. It was a very uncomfortable feeling.Finally, despite having a guaranteed payment set up through Booking.com, and specifically choosing to pay the room fee at the property, I was unexpectedly charged on the card I used to hold the reservation. I had intended to pay the fee with my own cash upon arrival, so this was an unwelcome surprise.
