Liked: Clean and spacious. Sliding glass door to outside.
Disliked: Not knowing you can get a cup of coffee by the desk in the early morning. Not knowing where you could get ice.

Liked: Location next to the river. Good food and restaurant staff were great.
Disliked: Key system was down. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Not good value. More like a motel.

335.00 per night is lofty...

Disliked: Under construction and rooms and dining areas need renovation

This is a very nice...

Liked: We loved the location and the river view. It was perfect for walking between downtown and the university.
Disliked: One of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the heated pool. We were very sad to learn the hotel is under construction and there is no pool at the moment. We would have appreciated some mention of this when booking or in the weeks leading up to the reservation.

Outrageously priced for the quality....

Liked: Location is good.
Disliked: My room was a junior suite. The room was large but void of furniture, very strange looking and feel. I asked at check in for a room away from the elevator and ice machine. My room was adjacent to the elevator. Like sleeping below a subway every time it was used. After the first night I asked the front desk to be moved. They refused since I booked my stay through a third party.

Disliked: I travel to Missoula once a year. I always Dine at the Finn and really enjoy it. I took my sister and talked up Double Tree. Made my reservation many months ago. Did not know it would be under construction, causing many inconvenience. The lobby was closed, no bathroom available in the restaurant. No gym, they did offer passes to a gym you can walk to. No hot tub.. Our room was nice however during our week stay was not cleaned only the beds were made and towels changed. Surfaces were not cleaned, empty tissue box was not replaced only a stack of tissue in plastic left in bathroom. I was so disappointed. At check out I asked if I could get any discount for the inconvenience caused by the construction and was told NO. No conversation. This is the first Missoula trip staying at you hotel. I was so excited to stay there.very disappointing.
