Convenient but not great

Liked: Convenient to Morton Arboretum. Didn’t use any hotel amenities. Carpet was worn and tearing away at the seams in hallways. Elevator was slow, only 2/3 working with a full hotel. Rooms are dated, no digital clock in room, tv was small compared to today’s standards and other hotels. Shower was very tight with soap/shampoo right in the middle of the wall, could have placed in another location in shower. My husband had to stand sideways in shower because of this. Toilet seat was very loose, moved every time you used it.

Liked: Location
Disliked: No fridges in all the rooms. No microwave. Floors had trash on them that was still there when we checked out. Was there for 2 days. No free breakfast. Very much in need of an update! Luggage carts looked like they were old and none matched. Like they were bought 2nd hand somewhere. Staff was not friendly at all. Seemed indifferent. Definitely not up to Double Tree by Hilton standards. Would definitely not recommend anyone staying here. Was a waste of money.
