The bed was very comfortable.

Liked: I loved the staff at reception and at the restaurant. they were very welcoming and provided excellent service.
Disliked: The bathroom was small and the bathroom sink was too close to the door which made it awkward walking into and out of the bathroom particularly in a hurry. The air conditioner was also quite noisy but once I was asleep it didn't keep me awake.

Liked: Don’t care for bathtub setup. Hard to get in and out of to take a shower.

Exceptional

I will never use booking...

Liked: I was an ok hotell.
Disliked: I fid not like that the price from booking.com is different from what uou pay when you check in. The stay on booking was supose to be 190euro. When i check in it is 250.

Unclean and outdated rooms

Liked: The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The rooms were very grubby, dated and in some ways disgusting. There was lots of questionable stains on the floors and walls. The black aesthetic showed up lots more marks and dirt. The velvet couch/bench had staines and marks over it. The first room we were given had a bathroom that had mould and damage to the bathtub. The bathroom walls being transparent and a door that does not fully close made the privacy of the bathroom extremely awkward.The quality of the stay was not on par with the price of the room and the Double Tree by Hilton name. After speaking with the staff they are aware that the hotel is very dated and in need of renovations which we appreciated the honesty and they helped us get a “cleaner” room but on a lower floor.Lisbon is lovely and the people are very friendly!

Liked: Staff were so helpful; bed was really comfortable, location ideal.
Disliked: I think the choice of black colours for hallways and decor are awful. Very dull & dreary. Hotels can be quite lonely places and the black colour choices added a dull atmosphere. The heavy black glass door to the bathroom was treacherous. The mirrors in the bathroom , doubling and tripling everything were quite confusing. Who ever chose the colors and materials should be fired.Also, the closet doors were installed wrongly- the poor excuse for handles should be replaced and installed on the other sides. For example- When you open the closet next to the bed side table- it knocks everything off the table ! Not very user friendly!

Liked: The welcome bottle of port wine and the plate with fruit and muesli as a present for regular Double Tree be Hilton guest. Everyday fresh water in the room.
Disliked: It was the worst Double Tree by Hilton I have ever visited. The room was quite old and used. Not possibility to open the window, so the humidity was quite high. Small breakfast room, so one day we were offered to sit in the room nearby lobby and to walk for meals through the corridor. The choice of food was nothing exceptional, rather poor. The hotel deducted the deposit from my account and haven’t payed back yet, even after writing them to confirm whether everything was ok and when I will get the deposit back.
