Liked: The location is brilliant for connecting to the train station and a short walk into the city centre.
Disliked: When checking out the reception was very congested

Liked: Very clean, looked like it had been freshened up and very central. Beautiful view from the room. Nice clean good quality bedding.
Disliked: For £113 no slippers, no fridge, no water, no complimentary mention of this being our second wedding anniversary. We had our reception at HDT in 2022 and stayed last year on our anniversary and this year. I have mentioned it on both occasions but felt like it wasn’t a big deal.

Our go to hotel in...

Liked: Loved our newly refurbished room, I have previously commented on how the tired the rooms were looking, new decor makes a huge difference. Love the location of this hotel, really close to the main shopping area.Regularly use the Lock Bar, great atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: Breakfast again wasn't as good as it had been in the past. Luke warm food and the quality of the ingredients, isn't as good as it used to be. Also some of the coffee machines are much too slow pouring, especially at busy times.

Great views in a handy...

Liked: Good location. Nice views over the canal and surrounding area. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: The TV in our room didn't work well. The remote wasn't the correct one for the TV and didn't seem to have all the necessary buttons to navigate the hotel sub menus.Wi-Fi was good though, so all other devices worked OK.
