DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront

Overall stay was delightful. My husband and I were looking forward to some type of continental breakfast and was a little disappointed. We did love the mattress :) and the facility upgrades.

Liked: Updated facility.
Disliked: Bathroom shower design did not keep water from escaping the shower area - had a hard time keeping floor dry and free of water.

My 7th floor room was very clean and comfortable. I was a little disappointed there was no refrigerator but maybe I didn't book the right room. As morning approached, I really could hear a lot of traffic noise and some construction. Overall, a pleasant experience, though.

Liked: Updated and very comfortable room.
Disliked: A good deal of traffic noise.

Board walk will be great when construction/repairs are completed. Location is a plus.

Liked: Love the view of river. Very nice staff. Water Taxi is great way to get across the river.
Disliked: None.

Liked: The staff is awesome. Loved the location. Being close to the river wall was the best. Loved the pool, however it was a bit cold. Food is good too.

Great location, horrible quality.

Liked: Seeing the gorgeous pool and beautiful view, and paying as much as we did for one night I was very disappointed in the quality of the building and especially our room . Hallways and all walls elevators with obscenities written into them . Our room in particular was disgusting heres a list of the issues - mold and paint chips on the window sills-stains on all pillowcases, and the pullout mattress- stains on the fabric chair that was there-the toliet was broken to the point of sitting down and getting up the whole toliet moved -TV in the restroom didn't work, so why was it there ?-stains on the counters- worst of all, cigarette burns and disgusting carpeting our family had to wear socks the whole time. If I didn't have to already wait 40 minutes after check in time 4pm even though I had been there 2 hours prior to check in hoping my room would be made a priority.. i would of demanded a new room or a discount. Instead , I will never be staying at a double tree again .Invest in new linens, cleaning, refurbing and more luggage carts ?
