Pay the 28 bucks for valet and walk to restaurants nearby. Fillmore is a 1 minute walk. DoubleTree is the place to stay for Fillmore shows.
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Nothing.

We got 2 rooms. One we got in after 3, the other, which was across the hall, it was after 4, due to the fact that housekeeping were standing around talking. My daughter was talking in the lobby with a friend late, but quietly, and they were told they had to go to their rooms. Didn't know that when you pay over 300 bucks for 2, very plain, small, no fridge rooms, that they're able to dictate when you have to be in your room. No, I won't pick this hotel again.
Liked: They were late checking us in so we got 3 complimentary breakfast and free parking.
Disliked: The fact that one of our rooms wasn't ready until after 4, when check in is at 3.

Coletta was fabulous! The place was crazy with check ins and I am guessing the cleaning staff a bit behind, but she was able to help us out and was very nice!
Liked: Everyone was very nice.

Stayed at this location to be close to The Fillmore. Did not realize until arrival how the location was so perfect. Plenty to do within the two blocks of hotel to Fillmore. Will stay here for every show I attend. Such an amazing price through this site for facilities.
Liked: Beautiful hotel. Easy parking. Great location to Fillmore. Plenty to do befiore a show. Easy walk to The Fillmore.

We had booked the "King Suite" for 3 nights. I had assumed that a "suite" would include a mini fridge - I was wrong. For an additional $10 a night, they will bring a mini fridge up to your room. We declined out of principal. The little food and beverages we had brought with us had to be tossed. Also, there is no parking garage or readily available street parking in the area. The hotel charges $17/ night to park your vehicle. We also sat at the bar for just over 15 minutes until the bartender showed her face. She was very rude and the drinks were VERY overpriced. Overall, we are both very disappointed with the hotel and our stay but we did love the area and nightlife in Silver Spring. We will return but we will not be staying at the Doubletree.
Liked: The room itself was gorgeous, modern and clean. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. It was well-stocked with toiletries.
Disliked: The advertised "quiet time" is non-existent. Please consider another hotel if you are on business or need R&R. I received 6 hours total sleep in two nights due to the noise. Our entire floor was booked with rowdy, obnoxious and inconsiderate guests who were yelling, playing music, running up and down the hallways, smoking pot and loitering around the halls. On more than one occasion we were startled as we turned the corner and there was a young adult sitting and/or laying on the floor, almost tripping us. We made multiple calls to the front desk to ask that something be done/said but each time we were asked to "give it some time for the other guests to get settled." The front desk staff was very welcoming but the floor staff were rude and would not acknowledge my wife and I. A do-not disturb hanger was not provided (not that it would have made a difference with all the noise and rambunctiousness.) Upon our arrival, all the lamps and alarm clocks were unplugged from the wall. I had to use my cellphone's flashlight to guide myself through the room in order to plug everything in.

Loved the ease of using the site and the ease of check-in and out. We were in town for a concert and the location of the hotel was within a 5 minute walking distance of the venue. It was also close to area restaurants for a quick bite to eat afterwards. The shopping was great! Will definitely use the site again thanks.
Liked: Great experience!

If it's just a place to sleep for the night it's okay but being that they can't even get the charges right, I will be looking somewhere else in the future.
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Charge me a rate of $10 dollars more than my reservation. Then charged my card a few bucks higher than the invoice they gave me. No fridge in a king suite. Small bathrooms.

My overall experience was positive. Hotel staff were friendly and answered all my questions. The in restaurant made great food, and the waitresses were great.
Liked: Was very close to the venue, only had to cross the street and the staff were pleasant.
Disliked: They charge extra to stay in their parking deck under the hotel, but do not tell you that until after you are parked. They do not inform you of that when you call to confirm your reservation either.
