Liked: The staff, and specifically Xavier Smith at the front desk, was exceptionally focused on customer satisfaction. We were so happy with him, we already booked our next stay at the same hotel as my husband has another work-visit coming up next week.
Disliked: We booked a room with breakfast. My husband ordered the chicken sausages with the full breakfast and he said it tasted awful, like it had been sitting in the freezer for too long. I picked up my breakfast and on the first day so much attention was paid to packing it, with all condiments separately included. The second day we picked it up to go, only to find condiments missing. So perhaps using a checklist to ensure everything is packed for the takeaways...

Liked: Great location and great view! The staff were lovely and really helpful. Room was clean and plenty of space.
Disliked: It was quite noisy at night. We were on the 12th floor but it sounded like a window was open (even though it wasn?t) and the street noise was loud.

Victoria is a beautiful city...

Liked: Staff were helpful, room was very clean, loved viewing the Parliment buildings and waterfront.
Disliked: Never enough time.

King suite exceptionally clean and...

Liked: Our king suite was exceptionally clean. All COVID-related measures were thoroughly respected and we felt completely safe. The king suite was as expected : luxurious, comfortable and felt like a second home.At some point, we requested assistance when our fridge broke down and didn?t freeze food anymore. The help provided was immediate and top notch.
Disliked: Despite being on the 12th floor (to help reduce street noise nuisance), our king suite glass windows were old and so thin that you could hear street traffic or people screaming from way up high ? day and night. Positive note, noise isolation between rooms on upper and lower floors are well done. They just need to update the room and suite windows.One note, DO NOT provide your cell phone number to the reception upon check-in. We got bombarded every day with text messages with information regarding our stay and to insure everything was okay. THAT was a bit much.
