Pleasant stay, lovely staff.

Liked: The room I received on arrival was a disability room, not what I booked. Comfy bed, but the bathroom had discoloration in the shower. I was expecting a lovely bathroom and shower. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I would t ever book through booking.com ever again. £230 for a disability room outrageous!!
Disliked: Bathroom was a mess !!

All good except

Liked: Everything was excellent but as it's an old hotel the sound barrier between the rooms above your head, which are timber floors, is not great as the room we stayed in 1425 I think, you could hear footsteps and creaking so maybe try and get a room away from this or check if you can get a room on top.
Disliked: Noise from room above not sound proof

Liked: Clean - apart from some blue nail varnish on the bed sheets
Disliked: no shower gel in bathroom and right side night light out of order. Son couldn’t use the pool due to his age which wasn’t made clear on booking

An excellent two nights stay...

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location. The service we received from all of the staff was superb. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. The room was very spacious and had all of the extra, such as hairdryer, iron, ironing board and plenty of toiletries. The bed was that comfortable, I had the best nights sleep that I haven’t had in a long time. We had a superb breakfast on both of the days and also an al a Carte meal, deserts that were very well prepared and tasty and also with drinks. We also had a spa treatment and the use of the pool and spa facilities. Over all we had an excellent stay.
Disliked: There’s nothing we disliked.

Really good would come again
