Liked: Location - Excellent. You can easily walk to many of the city's attractions... Jackson Square, Bourbon street, French Quarter, St.Louis Cathedral, Shopping, Museums, Train, Bus, Café Du Monde, Aquarium, Riverwalk,

Great location, nice staff.

Liked: The location is great. It is on Canal Street, directly across the street from Cesar's casino. Bourbon is a quick 7- 10 min walk.
Disliked: The hotel is a little dated and could use some upgrades. The pool didn't have any water in it, but maybe they are preparing for the new summer season. They charge 3.00 for a bottle of water.

Very loud building (thin walls),...

Liked: The staff was nice and we got a welcome cookie which was fun. The location was really wonderful and the best part of the stay for sure. We got free street parking which was great too because valet was $55/night
Disliked: The hotel was nicely kept but an older building I think so the room was very loud and we could constantly here other people in their rooms/hallways as well as outside during the night which kept us up a lot! Also, the pool was fully drained and we were not able to go out to the deck :( the pool was one of the reasons we booked this place! Which was unfortunate.

Expensive but great staff!

Liked: The staff was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I left on Saturday morning which was also the marathon day, and one of the staff members walked me to a taxi stop given that no taxis could get close enough due to the marathon.
Disliked: The room I had was renovated nicely but the hotel showed its years. The bathroom door and room entrance ceiling were old and the paint was peeling. There was also a big magnifying mirror with a rusty base in the bathroom. For the price, I feel like it was a bit expensive.
