Great location. Disappointing room.

Liked: Location was excellent. We were there to support a friend running in the marathon.
Disliked: There were electric sockets on only one side of the bed meaning it was impossible for both sides of the bed to charge electrical equipment.The shower door was broken.The plug in the sink was broken.The TV channels were extremely limited and did not even include a free to air news channel.There was no coffee machine.

Liked: Breakfast was in the VIP lounge but the standard breakfast room had so much more to offer so we felt a little disappointed and most of the food was just warm and starting to get over cooked. The bed in the room was really comfortable but i believe the receptionist said it was a superior king room LOL no it was just a standard room with use of the vip breakfast lounge
Disliked: It was a little pricey for a room of that size ok it was in London and a weekend and by tower bridge but even so

Liked: All staff encountered were polite and efficient. Cooked breakfast was good, albeit not always the warmest. Fruit option didn't appear as varied for my tastes. Room was big enough, though a touch austere. Had the basic feel of a Premier-Inn about it - but without the purple! Bed was comfy. Air-con was good and easy to operate. No outside/next door noise was heard at any time. Fridge and safe were handy. Liked the £10 bar voucher if we skipped a room clean - made the drinks prices less crippling. Never problems getting a lift - if this is important to you.
Disliked: Downstairs bar area was drab and pretty uninviting, as its essentially the foyer as well. Needs dividing off and making more appealing. There was another 'cocktail bar' on the roof that we never got to in the 2 nights we were there, though. Maybe this was better? TV option wasn't great, as no 'news' channels. (that i could find).
