Overall my stay was OK. I was very disappointed about the charge/money issue.

Liked: The front desk clerk was very nice and professional. The hotel was nice and clean. Comfy beds. And when I was able to grab food, it was very tasty.
Disliked: I love hotels but I was a bit disappointed with: 1) The half shower door/wall. It made my shower time a bit chilly. 2) my family and I couldn't get breakfast until 7am which I'm used to, but girls starting at 6am and my kids had to be at the track by 7:30. 3) which is a HUGE thing, upon reservations the clerks do not inform you of the extra $20/night for incidentals. I purposely was putting the exact amount on my card and I wouldn't have been able to get my room had I not called back and talked to two different people. That's an issue for folks coming from out of town.

Overall experience was okay. One day when we had to call for towels they weren't clean. Fortunately, we were given more than enough, so we did not use the unclean ones.

Liked: Checking in and checking out was pleasant. Hotel and room was clean. Looked nice.
Disliked: Every evening we had to call for replacement towels. Coffee, condiments and water were not replaced.

Liked: Friendly staff, convenient parking which is also free, rooms were clean with updated furniture, nice sized bathroom with plenty of counter space, complimentary water each day. Hotel is really nice for a 3 star.
Disliked: Cleaning staff forgot to give us towels one day but it was resolved within minutes, so it really wasn't a big deal. Also keys wouldn't work one of the days but another minor issue which was resolved rather quickly.

Liked: The remodel of the property is beautiful. The carpeting throughout out, the guest rooms, the public areas of the hotel, including the lobby, the bar and the restaurant are quite lovely. A definite improvement from the prior hotel property/corporation.
Disliked: The check in staff needs some professional development training as to how you treat guests. In my mind and training the customer standing before you are always more important than those on the phone and certainly more so than friends and colleagues.

It was perfect for the night stay we needed to go see our son at Fort Meade and very affordable for the star rating.

Liked: It was surprisingly very modern and clean. For the price it was wonderful.
Disliked: I would not suggest the 2nd floor if you're an early to bed person or have a small child. You could hear the music/bass from the bar/restaurant very well.

Liked: The overall experience was very professional. My family and I would recommend Double Tree to everyone we know.
Disliked: The time schedule for the fitness center, I would prefer to workout while I'm on vacation and sometimes the conventional schedule doesn't take that in account.

Liked: I was coming down from NY on Business and missed my flight in NY. Notified the hotel staff of the situation and that I would be driving down and would get in around 3/4am. The staff told me they would extend the check out till I had to leave !
Disliked: everything was great, only issue was a bad iron in room but I called down to the front desk and they had a new one up there in about 5mins. very pleased. looking forward to the next time I go down there, which should be in September and booking them!
