Great hotel, great location, great...

Liked: This was a fantastic location for the night before our River Cruise. We were able to get the train from the airport to the Centraal Station with just a very short walk to the hotel. It was also very easy to get to the city center and then to the boat for the river cruise. Would definitely stay there again.

Very good central location near...

Liked: The staff in the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us and were very friendly, recognising and greeting us on our return the second night. The steaks we had in the restaurant were very good. The car park below the hotel is safe and extensive. Inevitably, it is expensive (45 euro a day in 2025)Excellent location for arrival by train.
Disliked: The restaurant was a bit more 'ordinary' than we had expected, given the type and price of hotel it is in. This was not really surprsing, given that it is in an area with plenty of passing tourists also able to access it. However, as a result one might have expected a wider choice of menu. But the food was good, if not spectacular. Steaks are probably still their forté, as they used to be a steak house. Our own fault, but I wouldn't try to drive into central Amsterdam again.
