Great safe place other than...
Liked: Clean safe place to stay
Disliked: The bottom floor flooded had to move rooms.

My family and I experienced...
Liked: Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile by Tony, and was pleasantly surprised to find both of my rooms were ready earlier than expected. The hotel had a fresh, clean aroma. Everything was beautiful. The personalized greeting on the tv was a great touch. I love personalized things. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed ourselves overall.
Disliked: I encountered multiple, small nagging issues with the night desk clerk Diane (maybe Diana). I asked for cookies to which she asked if I planned on paying for them. I responded that I thought they were complimentary and she said they had a large group coming in that night and they needed them for their check in. I then asked how much they would cost to which she sighed, very obviously annoyed by my presence and proceeded to give me three cookies for my group. The second inconvenience was when my family and I went to swim. I read on the site that towels were available at the front desk and there was no need to bring ours from the room. I reluctantly proceeded to the desk and was once again met by Diane telling me that I don’t get the towels from the desk, I have to bring mine from my room. At this point, I opted out of returning upstairs to retrieve my room towel. My family and I proceeded to the pool and I chose to only put my feet in so that I wouldn’t need a towel. Later, my father joined us out at the pool. Seeing us without towels, he went to the front desk and inquired. He was met with no resistance and given multiple pool towels. I do understand that she could have been possibly overwhelmed by the night. I have been a laboratory scientist working night shift for the past ten years. At the time of both of my inquiries, there was no one else at the desk. I’m not sure why I was treated so differently and I definitely did not feel respected or appreciated as a customer. Please note that all other staff was amazing and very respectful. It was only these two negative experiences with this one individual.

Room 605
Liked: The room itself was fairly nice. There was a beautiful view of the river. The layout of the room was okay, but narrow walking space for mobility impaired. The layout was also poorly designed in regard to the reading nook. It's pointless to have a lamp and chair with NO outlet to plug the lamp into.The beds were okay, but the pillows were horrible. The cut-up pieces of memory foam in the pillows dispersed all around the head and left NO support under the head. They also absorbed body heat and made it extremely uncomfortable to sleep from being so warm.The bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion smelled nice, but consideration should be given to offering hypoallergenic products.

Liked: The hotel staff is great. Clean, comfortable, this was our third stay here. Love the view of the water. Location great. You have to try out the Fisherman's Wharf food is great.
