Disappointment

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: No customer service skills, no going that little bit extra.Breakfast was dry and burnt and scrambled egg was powdery.The pool area was dirty and the shower trickled and had a build up of mildew.We paid for a treatment and were told we couldnt have a dressing gown as we hadn't booked a full spa day. We said we had stayed over night to be told we would have to go back to reception to get one. The trip was for our anniversary and was stressful from start to finish. Not worth what we paid £185.00 for one night and 85 pound for two 25 minute treatments.

Liked: The hotel itself was beautiful
Disliked: The room was way too hot, no aircon and the plug for the fan was too far away from the bed it didn’t really help. Also there was no water in the rooms and no fridge

The parking charge spoiled it

Liked: Location and room was good but room was very hot and couldn’t open the doors to the balcony
Disliked: Paying 186 pound for the room and get charged 15 pound for parking is appalling!!

Lovely location, food average

Liked: Brilliant location, spacious room. A bottle of Proseecco in the room with a hand written card was a welcome surprise
Disliked: Food at the restaurant was not the best. Belly pork crackling was not at all crispy, the texture of rubber and Eaton mess had frozen fruit instead of fresh

Most enjoyable stay. Will not...

Liked: Beginning with the extremely friendly reception staff, and early check in availability, to the spaceous, spotless accomoadtion and closeness to amenities and bright and comfortable bar area, not to mention the delicious breakfast, our stay was thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to be returning next year.
Disliked: No complaints at all.
