Pleasant

Liked: The SPA and lounge was lovely which we both used but the room was very hot with no ventilation znd I could not have a bath as the plug was damaged. The garden was also very overgrown with dried dead flowers in the pots. For 4 star hotel this should have been better.
Disliked: The bedroom wss small and hotThe garden looked overgrown and has not been tended recently.

Thought would of least got...

Disliked: Found hair in my breakfast .Put me completely off my breakfast Told staff they went to find manager to report.Never heard from it again having reported it to check out. Also lots lots of cobwebs in the bedroom.

Disliked: Wasn't sure about dressing for Spa treatments And had the impression Id got it wrong. In particular it was not at all clear if I should have had a dressing gown on, as were others attending, nor where to change. This info not offered by Spa Reception desk.

Disappointing

Lovely hotel in excellent location.

Liked: Excellent location for centre of town. Room small but cosy, clean comfortable and quiet! Did not eat at hotel but Spa was beautiful.
Disliked: Only issue was at Fredericks bar where staff ignored my husband while he waited to order so he was not happy.

Liked: We were upgraded by the very pleasant reception staff,The building is very impressive
Disliked: There was some sort of event on which apparently closed at a reasonable time but the noise from people congregating under the canopy at 12:30 at night was quite loud we had to ring down to reception ….
