DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, Glasgow

We were not too sure what to expect from the outside but were pleasantly surprised by the rooms - spacious and very comfortable. We had not intended to stay for breakfast but changed our minds on arrival. Great night's sleep - beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again - would recommend to anyone looking for extremely good value for money to book Glasgow City Hotel. You will be as pleasantly surprised as we were.

A lovely hotel with helpful front of house staff; best night's sleep in a long time. Breakfast was fabulous and staff very prompt and attentive. Clean and tidy rooms.

Liked: Size of room, location to lift, friendly staff. Swimming pool and gym facilities available.
Disliked: I have mobility problems, could not use bath....no shower rooms available. One of the lifts on my floor was broken, I cannot use stairs so major problem ,and interfered with the signal to other lift.So you could be waiting a very long time because it came and by- passed my floor. The broken lifts doors were constantly opening and closing and there was nothing Infront of the lift to stop children/ adults trying to get into it or use it.
