We were not too sure what to expect from the outside but were pleasantly surprised by the rooms - spacious and very comfortable. We had not intended to stay for breakfast but changed our minds on arrival. Great night's sleep - beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again - would recommend to anyone looking for extremely good value for money to book Glasgow City Hotel. You will be as pleasantly surprised as we were.
Liked: The room was lovely - clean and fresh.
Disliked: Nothing we stayed for breakfast as well.

Very clean; staff very helpful. Great central hotel for shops and theatres; would recommend to friends and stay there again.
Disliked: Slight musty smell in the room - perhaps previously a smoking room.

A lovely hotel with helpful front of house staff; best night's sleep in a long time. Breakfast was fabulous and staff very prompt and attentive. Clean and tidy rooms.

Liked: Luxurious entrance hall. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Large room which you couldn’t hear anyone in the corridors or the traffic outside.
Disliked: Breakfast staff were a bit miserable

Won’t be back
Disliked: On arriving back at the hotel at minutes after midnight we were disappointed to be unable to order a drink to take to our room. We appreciate the bar was closing and have no issue with that but as residents would expect to be able to order one for our room while barman was there and he was very nice but it had to be agreed by reception. We were sent to our rooms so we could scan a QR code being that this was the 6th floor we would then have to return to collect drinks (I wouldn’t want to have drinks I’ve not seen poured delivered to my room) I found this service standard very lacking from a Hilton and haven’t been aware of this before. The staff at the hotel were nice and it’s not a reflection on them if it’s hotel policy but it was after all not that late and bar staff were still working, I don’t think they would of had a problem making us a drink. As it as we chose not order as we felt it’s just stupid we couldn’t scan a code and order while we were there or like in the good old days just speak to the nice barman and charge it to our room!

Disappointed with executive bar
