Liked: Very close to airport
Disliked: Charged near $1000 USD for one night and I booked over 3 months in advance

Good location, don’t rely on...

Liked: Hotel is 5-minute walk from the airport terminal. Food was not bad.Room was spacious and comfy.
Disliked: We were advised that the airport shuttle came by at intervals of 15 to 30 minutes, with no set schedule. However in the early morning my partner had already been out the front a couple of times smoking, prior to our checking out. He observed the shuttle stopping at the hotel across the road but it never came to Doubletree. He had seen several families give up waiting and walk to the terminal, which is what we did. Fortunately it wasn’t raining.

Convenient and comfortable

Liked: The Doubletree worked well for us. We stayed there for an early morning flight. The hotel is similar to Premier Inns. We heard some noise as we tried to get to sleep but to be fair it was early and the noise was from people in the corridor and short-lived. Other than that we slept well and had all the facilities we needed. We used the twilight check in which worked well and caught the tram to eat in the city centre in the evening and got the Airport Link bus back which was quick and easy.

Disliked: took two double beds room for 4 persons, the room was a little bit too small for all of us
