Room was wonderful. Large, neat and well set out. Service was great. Staff was excellent and very helpful. We travel more each year. From this point forward, we will seek out the nearest Doubletree. Thank you so much.

Terrible, not what I expected...

Liked: I had so many expectations as this is a Hilton, and there was nothing I liked about the Dearborn Doubletree Hilton
Disliked: First off I am on oxygen and requested a handicap accessible room, which I did not get - they placed me on the fifth floor in the farthest most room (559) and there was no handicap accessible shower! Drinking glasses in the room were dirty. Bathroom door was covered in facial hair. Even though the room was booked for 2 adults, there were only amenities for 1. No luggage cart available (but while standing in line waiting for event to start, a person came by with a few groceries on a huge cart) person obviously lived there, along with multiple misbehaving children. No complimentary breakfast. No room service. Diner "Grille 39" not open after 9, which is the time the event let out - so no dinner!

Liked: Location; this place is pretty close to anything you could think of from good restaurants to Ford Museum to Great Lakes Crossings Outlet to airport. Also, the manager was so respectful and one-of-a-kind.
Disliked: I had a bad experience with check-in because I wasn't given any help with, for example, luggage, or finding the room location.

Poor sound insulation from outside...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The temperature of the room was easy to control.The day shift desk staff and management fixed the mess created at check-in.
Disliked: The desk clerk at check-in was rushed and charged us the wrong rate. Twice!The Saturday night portion was ruined by loud talking in the parking area all night. We were on the 5th floor!

Overall was fine.

Liked: Location. Staff in general was helpful.
Disliked: Needed sheets for the sofa bed and they took a while to get them (a few hours). Only two towels even though I had 3 night stay. Had a problem with the reservation. Was treated a bit rudely at my door by a gentleman who looked like security and someone from housekeeping on Saturday (I checked in on Friday) who told me I wasn't registered and to call the front desk. Not sure why that was my problem since I had a reservation and checked in when I arrived. When I called the front desk, they said the person checking me in on the previous day did not complete my reservation. It felt like they were blaming me for the front desk issue. On Sunday morning, another person showed up, didn't knock and opened the door who said he was attempting to repair the door and said he showed no one in the room. He apologized but was a bit odd when someone starts opening your door on a Sunday morning.

the housekeeping can do much...

Liked: it was very quiet and pleasant.
Disliked: the housekeeping and the way they accommodate the rooms and how they take their time LITERALLY to do their job causing someone to miss out on pool time or their stay there for a peace of mind overall
