DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte City Center

We stayed one night at this hotel and the amenities and staff were amazing. The hotel lobby and room were very clean and had beautiful designs. The location was also perfect as it was only a six minute drive from the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Ampitheater and there were many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Liked: Very welcoming staff and perfect amenities.
Disliked: There were no low points to our stay.

The staff was extremely pleasant to work with. The room was spacious and clean. I would stay there again if I needed to stay in the Charlotte area.

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Not at all.

Liked: Location to the Spectrum Center.
Disliked: Did not know that you have to pay for parking in their parking lot, which was $18/night, and they also require you to pay an "incidental fee" up front; usually hotels charge you if something happens, not before. Yes, the money comes back, but it was still gone for a few days and that made a few things difficult.

Paid $191 for 1 night. Did not receive the free shuttle service as advertised. Had to pay $18 to park for one day and no free breakfast - had to pay $14.99 each for a buffet that should cost 5 dollars. Very disappointing - not worth the money I spent.

Disliked: No extras.

Great location. Perfect for walking to events. Unfortunate that Bellman wanted to make a few bucks more than providing customer service. Valet parking confient, and professional.

Liked: Perfect location; friendly staff; restaurant was excellent. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Bellman would not let me have a cart to bring luggage down after checkout.
