I canceled my reservation once...
Liked: I did like the room were given to me. I had to cancel my reservation.
Disliked: The front desk employee didn’t care about my desire to have a room in front of the ocean.

Our anniversary all went well
Liked: Beach was good , room was clean did not have breakfast at resort.
Disliked: Drinks @ $14 per too high!!!

This experience was below expectations...
Liked: As a family that has stayed next door at the Sandalwood up until this last hurricane took it out. We have always wanted to stay at the Doubletree as it was a more luxury hotel. We love the location it is right on the beach. The restaurant was the only good thing about food was good.
Disliked: It was very upsetting that the only way to the beach is down a ton of stairs. My mom has a bad knee and one time down and back up the stairs was all she could do. The beds are hard as rocks and the AC unit in the room was sooo loud. The staff was rude and not helpful. When trying to buy anything from the gift shop no one wanted to ring you up. I was trying to buy a jar of the cookies to take home and they women at the front desk was so incredibly rude. Older lady with white hair. Super not friendly for what you pay per night to stay there that was not acceptable. I hate to say we will not be back.
