Liked: Breakfast was by far the best bit about this hotel. Matteo was lovely and attentive and clearly has mastered his craft.
Disliked: The rooms were dated and not very clean. Lots of dust in the extractor in the bathroom and the lights were a nightmare to try to get to grips with. The shower tray was also quite grimey with mould on the sealant. Given the usual quality of a higher class hotel and usual Hilton standards this falls well below par. I had to ask for our room to serviced (didn’t replace water etc) and they didn’t change the sheets on the 3rd night of our 4 night stay. The bar staff and check in staff were lacking and as a result very slow. All complaints mentioned At checkout so they compd’ our drinks, would have been better to give us a night back. There was also only one lift working for the whole hotel. Really quite appalling.

A wonderfully comfortable experience

Liked: Location central to Bath City which meant we didn’t need our car all weekend. Could enjoy the sights and huge selection of fabulous restaurants without worrying about driving. Very handy having the car park immediately underneath hotel. Room was modern and very comfortable, cleaned and replenished daily. Had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was set out well, with organised seating and very clean. Exceptionally stocked with a huge range of food and beverages.
Disliked: The square vent in the bathroom above the toilet was very dusty, could’ve done with a hoover to remove debris. The glass screen to the shower and taps needed some descaling and cleaning up in some areas.The hairdryer was set on low heat and took a while to dry hair.

Very expensive for the poor...

Liked: The location is very good. The beds are comfortable.
Disliked: There was no breakfast left even when we went down quite early. The room was not properly clean.They left our suitcases downstairs all day because the room was not ready when we tried to check in. The staff was unfriendly.
