Liked: Clean & safe
Disliked: Check in: very difficult understanding the check in receptionist. I had to ask 3 times for him to repeat what he said because I could not understand him. He told us Doubletree would charge my card $100 for a “safety deposit.” But I didn’t want nor need a safety deposit box. Turns out it was a “security” deposit..by the time we figured that out, there was a long line behind us.Towels in bathroom were noticeably thin. For $170 a night, I’d expect a better towel.

Liked: Excellent beds and pillows; very roomy; quiet; good AC; immacutely clean; extremely well maintained; liked the large bottles of toiletries with no small bottles.annoyances cited above would make me choose another chain motel rather than Double Rree.
Disliked: No second wash cloth provided; no glasses for the bathroom—we had to use the paper cups for coffee Operating the YV was too complicated with no instructions availableReally offended by the $2.50 charge for a bottle of water— those are Airport prices! We do not belong in any of the categories that would have made the water freeNo directions for how to sign on to wi-fi and so we had we weren’t able to connect—had to use LTE (?)mode on cell phoneAll these were annoying or irritating and would make me rethink my choice to stay here againWe are older, in our 80’s. Younger more tech savvy people would not have had trouble with the TV or WiFiBut we still travel and stay in motels and did not find this one user friendly for older people.

Liked: Staff was helpful.
Disliked: We had a leak in the bathroom ceiling, and had to move. We got free breakfasts. Walls were scuffed, sheets and towels were worn.
