DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore - BWI Airport

I paid for a King Deluxe room months in advance, only to be told upon my arrival that it was not available. I then was told that I was being upgraded to a suite for the inconvenience but was put in a regular room instead, while still having paid for a King Deluxe. Not cool at all. The room was clean and nice but not what I paid for nor expected. I was disappointed. It truly is the little things that matter.

Clean, comfortable, quick access to...

Liked: Clean, comfortable; quick check-in process. Shuttle to airport was on time and had sufficient space for everyone. We travel through Baltimore frequently on our way home from Dover - we will stay here every time from now on.
Disliked: Can't think of a thing.

Exceptional

Liked: We definitely love the cookies! Laugh out loud. It was very clean the beds are super soft The accommodations are absolutely wonderful. All around good experience
Disliked: I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything dislikable.

I won't be staying there...

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. Cleaning staff provided additional towels, etc and cleaned room well.
Disliked: The room decor was dated, wall paper dated and peeling, water damage to walls and ceiling, dark stains on bathroom floor, bathroom too small, lighting in room and throughout hotel needs brighting, shades in room were dated, dining area dated, breakfast food too expensive and is equivalent to McDonald's. Parking lot too small for the amount of customers it receives. Parking lot can use upgrade in lighting. Hotel employees are very nosy when my guest asked for Atrium B, location but they wanted to know what room number as well. I asked hotel employee for a extra water and she wanted to know the room number I was staying in, before providing water. That wasn't necessary. 😕 A vehicle's wheels were stolen and left on cinder blocks in parking lot.

Disliked: The wall paper in room was peeling. The room smelt stuffy.

Disliked: Early hours for bar and food closing

Liked: Close to the airport, the front desk agents were great, the shuttle driver was great, and we had a very nice time chatting.
Disliked: When they publicly advertise hotel as no smoking, however, the people get on the elevator and room hallway, smelling cigarettes and weeds. Some of the guests might be allergic to those smells. Did they ever go around to make sure that the elevator and hallway don't smell. For us, it's about health concerns 🤔
