DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore - BWI Airport

I paid for a King Deluxe room months in advance, only to be told upon my arrival that it was not available. I then was told that I was being upgraded to a suite for the inconvenience but was put in a regular room instead, while still having paid for a King Deluxe. Not cool at all. The room was clean and nice but not what I paid for nor expected. I was disappointed. It truly is the little things that matter.

Disliked: Disappointed.

Liked: The convenience to the airport
Disliked: The wall paper in room was peeling. The room smelt stuffy.

Disliked: Early hours for bar and food closing

Liked: Close to the airport, the front desk agents were great, the shuttle driver was great, and we had a very nice time chatting.
Disliked: When they publicly advertise hotel as no smoking, however, the people get on the elevator and room hallway, smelling cigarettes and weeds. Some of the guests might be allergic to those smells. Did they ever go around to make sure that the elevator and hallway don't smell. For us, it's about health concerns 🤔

I’m probably done with Booking.com....

Liked: The property was fine, but Booking.com screwed up, yet again. We got a queen bed, and since it’s a third party booking the hotel wouldn’t change it. In making the reservation, since I stay in hotels for a living, I would only ever book a king. If available. And in the US, there is always a king available.
Disliked: Booking.com.🙄
