Disappointing Stay – Requesting Compensation...

Disliked: I traveled from Dallas, Texas to Atlanta this past weekend and arrived at the hotel around 3:00 AM Saturday morning due to a major flight delay caused by storms in Atlanta. Upon arrival, I was immediately informed that the hotel had no working air conditioning—extremely disheartening after such a long day. Unfortunately, I had no other option but to stay.The room key initially didn’t work, requiring multiple trips to the front desk before I could even enter my room. Once inside, the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable, and I was unable to get any real rest. The following morning, I noticed a puddle of water on the floor beneath a vent—likely due to the malfunctioning AC system.There were several other guests in the lobby voicing similar complaints. I ended up leaving the hotel for most of the day just to escape the heat. When I returned in the evening, I was told that the AC in the guest rooms was functioning again, but the air in the lobby and dining area was still out, making it impossible to enjoy the on-site dining.Upon checkout Monday morning, I spoke with the front desk clerk. She acknowledged the issues and informed me that, because I booked through Booking.com, they would need to submit the refund request on my behalf. She noted the problems on my account to support that request and advised me to follow up directly with Booking.com. I have also submitted a formal complaint to Hilton’s corporate office.Due to the significant inconvenience, I am respectfully requesting:A full refund for both nights20,000 Hilton Honors points as a goodwill gestureI have been a loyal Hilton Honors member and hope this matter will be resolved fairly and promptly.

A comfortable bed couldn’t make...
Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: I recently stayed at this hotel and had mixed feelings about the experience. The bed was very comfortable, which I appreciated during my recovery from surgery. However, I was disappointed with several aspects of the stay.First, I specifically paid for a king room with a sofa and a robe on the first floor. Upon arrival, I was told there were no king rooms with sofas available on the first floor, which was frustrating—especially considering my recent surgery and limited mobility.To make things more inconvenient, our room didn’t have basic amenities like a microwave, so my husband had to walk to the dining area just to heat up soup for me. I also requested extra pillows, but they were never brought to the room.Most concerning of all, we found a roach in the bathroom. That alone was enough to make us question the cleanliness of the entire room.Overall, while the bed was comfortable, the lack of advertised amenities, unfulfilled requests, and sanitation concerns made this stay disappointing—especially under the circumstances.

My stay was great and...
Liked: I love the convenience of not having to go out if I didn’t want to because of food and drinks being available on site.
Disliked: I didn’t like that I had to go to another floor for ice because the ice machine on the floor of my room was broken. I still enjoy my stay because I only had to go to the ice machine twice.
