DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel At The Entrance To Universal

I was able to get this hotel for $100 a night. Was not the most fancy or elegant but it did the job. Walking distance to the venue.

Liked: Very close to Hard Rock and City Walk.

Liked: Clean; affordable; room service and housekeeping were great.
Disliked: No balconies for a non smoking facility.

Doubletree Hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hard Rock Live, and CityWalk. The Florida Mall is also a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It's a great place to stay if you're vacationing on a budget.

Liked: Centrally located near many different things.
Disliked: Parking fee I was not informed of.

Liked: Room and location to the theme parks and other attractions are wonderful. The view from my room was outstanding.
Disliked: My problem with this hotel is that older adults upon check out or check in have to haul their luggage to the front door of the hotel. There is no unloading zone at this hotel. If there is you have to be a preferred guest. This service needs to be for everyone.

Liked: When we got there, the lady with really long nails told us our stay would be over 600.00. Booking.com quoted us $470.00. She said they made a mistske. Call them! But on checking out, Izzy found her mistake and fixed our bill to the proper price. He was amazing. We are grateful.
Disliked: No one gave us any details about parking fees or carts to bring your stuff up to your room. We found out that we could only use carts with an employee. I am quite capable of using and returning a baggage cart myself. I have a husband to help also. The valet parking took up all the space to pull your car up for unloading. It didn't seem very accommodating.
