I was able to get this hotel for $100 a night. Was not the most fancy or elegant but it did the job. Walking distance to the venue.

Liked: Very close to Hard Rock and City Walk.

Liked: Clean; affordable; room service and housekeeping were great.
Disliked: No balconies for a non smoking facility.

Doubletree Hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hard Rock Live, and CityWalk. The Florida Mall is also a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It's a great place to stay if you're vacationing on a budget.

Liked: Centrally located near many different things.
Disliked: Parking fee I was not informed of.

Liked: My daughter and I were on vacation and the purpose for our visit was to go to Universal Studios to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday, so the location was perfect as we walked to Universal...the pool and hot tub were fun, we had an amazing view of the pool, we took an uber to Disney Springs it was perfect location for us.Room was spacious and very clean
Disliked: The pool could have been warmer for me ; )

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is also located very close to the universal parks
Disliked: We were put in a disabled room that had constant buzzing from the door, yes we could have swapped rooms but that came with the hassle of packing all our bags and moving.The hotel does not offer any shuttles to the Disney parks therefore we ended up having to uber each day.The eating area for breakfast was very messy and outdated, whilst the staff were friendly having to sit next to very messy and stained tables was not fun.Whilst the room was clean, the carpets were stained and the bathroom was dated
