A lovely, clean stay with...

Liked: Everything was just as described. The hostess was very kind and welcoming. The suite was very clean, we had access to the swimming pool and sauna, although we didn’t have time to use them. The suite was very clean as well.
Disliked: The air conditioning was powerful, but quite loud during the night and didn’t have a sleep mode

Liked: good location to the town
Disliked: advertised breakfast included. What it did not say was you make your own the food was provided, as was the hot plate frying pan and the soap and towel to wash the dishes. Not what we were expecting. On arrival there was one of two outside doors. One was unlocked to let ourselves in. We never met the hosts. When we arrived back after dinner the second door which we never opened was wide open and a little girl was running through the hallway. Also not what we were expecting.

Liked: Beautiful suite. My husband enjoyed the hot tub. I loved having a little kitchen with a BBQ to have a homemade meal after being on the road for a week.

Good stay near Parc Mauricie

Liked: Lovely location. Perfectly fine accommodation close to restaurants in Shawinigan and access to the national park. Good basket breakfast. Comfortable tub for soaking after a long day. The host was exceptionally helpful and patient in giving us directions to the park so we could have a lovely afternoon doing the whole circuit and viewing great stops. We appreciated his letting us in early also. Merci, Jean.
