Domaine de Bassilour is set within a garden in a restored 18th- century manor house outside of Bidart. It is 1.9 mi from the beaches in Biarritz and offers views of the Pyrenees a tennis court and free Wi-Fi. Guest rooms are set in the manor house or in the converted 16th-century farmhouse and some have a view of the mountains. Liked: Clean … authentic
Disliked: Having to pay for items left in room, crisps and peanuts.. didn’t mind paying for the mini bar stuff but having to pay for a chocolate bar, Pringles and peanuts was absolutely ridiculous

A beautiful sixteenth century converted...

Liked: The breakfast was adequate. The oranges which you had to squeeze made excellent orange juice. It needed a wider choice of hams, pastries and cheese. However, what was there was fresh and tasty.

Liked: This is a glorious old property with so much quirky character. Lovely furnishings and super comfy bed. The bathroom was awesome.Outstanding continental breakfast and lovely staff.

Liked: The building and interior design.Extremely handy location. A mile off the motorway and less than 2 miles from the beaches of Biarritz.Dog friendly.
Disliked: Shame they don’t do diner.
