Exceptional

Liked: Great vibe, friendly staff. Great location.
Disliked: The bed bugs. Had to use my own sleeping bag because I kept being bitten by something.

Good

Liked: Nice hostel to stay in before/after k’gari tour. We had free pancakes for breakfast and they did a free hot dog night too which was good. On site bar does happy hour which wasn’t too badly priced. Rooms are en suite.
Disliked: Dorms can be noisy in the mornings as many people are leaving to do Fraser Island tour. No curtains on the beds so little privacy. My partner also found rat/mouse droppings underneath his pillow, unable to report this to reception as it was still closed when we left in the morning. Pool area had a bit of a ‘love island’ vibe to it haha. Licensed bar means you can’t drink your own alcohol on site and lots of the bars/restaurants in the area shut quite early.

Good price-quality

Liked: We stayed in a private double room, everything was very clean and quiet during the night. The bedroom was very basic, but with everything you need to spend a good night. Good location, close from the beach and a few shops. I would come back for sure

Disliked: Beds very uncomfortable

Bad awakening

Disliked: Check out at 9 and a half ok, but if the cleaning ladies start at 8 to clean (vacuum etc.) at this point let me just check out at 8 and go.
