a comfortable place to stay...

Liked: we had a comfortable room, small but clean bathroom, very good breakfast and a helpful host. Situated with great views we very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent and characterful location with...

Liked: Lovely character hotel within beautiful countryside surroundings - everything about this hotel delivers old world charm. It's so refreshing to stay in an independent establishment after years of travelling on business in Hilton/Hyatt/Sofitel etc. The owners were lovely people - very passionate about the hotel and the area it's in. They also cook up an excellent eggs benedict! I was there for a wedding up the road and the owner was kind enough to offer me a lift THERE and BACK again in the evening. It's things like this that not only restore your faith in humanity but make for an excellent stay in a beautiful part of the country. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Liked: Great location breakfast to die for. Ken and Sarah were great hosts.
Disliked: Shame about not having a chef.
